Hafco L3459 - 192 Colour Pages The Best of the Shed 2 Magazine L3459
16 More Top Projects From 15 Great Years
Overview
- Welcome to the second edition of Best of The Shed - another good bunch of projects for you to have a crack at, taken from our first 15 years of the magazine. The current editorial team are the new kids on the block, really, having only been involved with the magazine since we became the owners some three years ago. Apprentices!
- Some of The Shed team have been involved for much longer, of course. A fair bit of the content here is from the 'new' team but just as much is from the early days of the magazine, stretching back to 2005.
- Putting this content together was an uplifting experience, as I researched all the issues of The Shed ever published. It became apparent that some world-class editorial has been created by the likes of Jude Woodside and Robin Overall. I see from the first Best of The Shed that Jude thanked founding editor Terry Snow for his efforts. I would add Jude himself to that list as well as the previous editor, Sarah Beresford.
- It's a huge team effort, of course, so thanks go out from all us sheddies to all The Shed writers, graphic designers, photographers, and editing support team.
- The premise behind this publication is to bundle some of our most popular projects in one place for you to have a crack at, or to simply read, enjoy, and learn from. Too much knowledge is never a bad thing.
- May I also suggest that you use this collection of projects to show friends and family what real joy a life of working in your shed can be. Show these folks, share this Best of with them - or even better, give someone a copy so they can discover which direction in their shed is best for them. You may just change someone's spare time forever.
- So, enjoy these 15 years of articles about having a lot of fun making all sorts of amazing stuff in the shed.
